Our Story

Founded in Kingston Ontario by James Brown Sr., as a dairy operation in the late 1920’s, Brown’s soon added bottling facilties to meet the growing demands of the soft drink market. In the early 1950’s Brown’s lead the way and brought some of the first vending machines to Canada. The first cafe operation open-end in 1975.

Food Service Introduction

Our market extends across Canada. Our 1200+ staff is presently responsible for providing quality service to over 250,000 customers per day at our 115 sites. We are able to provide our clients with the best and safest methods of food handling, food quality, health and safety and quality customer service.
